It’s almost here! It’s almost here! We’re only days away from the premier of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. As a matter of fact, you might be reading this after the movie’s already premiered. If so, we say to you: “Hello, future person! We hope that the new Star Wars is everything we’ve all be hoping for!” Since we don’t have access to a time machine, though, we’re instead going to look back at the original Star Wars films. Specifically, we’re going to take a look at some of the tiny movie-making mistakes that you (and many others) likely never noticed while watching. So, take a look, and use these as an excuse to re-watch the original trilogy before checking out the new film!
1. The Jacket Strikes Back
It’s one of the most iconic moments in all of Star Wars. Han Solo stands ready to be frozen in carbonite during the climax of The Empire Strikes Back. As he awaits his fate, he tells Leia that he loves her. In the wide shot, we see that Han Solo is wearing only his shirt. But, as the camera moves closer, Han Solo’s signature jacket is miraculously there once again. Perhaps the force had something to do with it?
